Current Projects

YARA + DAVINA are currently working on a number of artworks:

MANIFEST, Policy Lab: We are Artists In Residence at Worthing & Adur Council with Policy Lab, a government Think Tank. We are exploring the role of participation in public policy and have a particular interest in the theme of time, participation and purpose.

Woman Whole commission for ODAC: We are developing a series of permanent artworks around the Regents Park Estate, Camden, where we are installing new manhole covers which explore women, service and empowerment.

Be The Change You Want to See, UP Projects and Elysian Residencies: We are working with local residents in Blackheath, London to explore how we embrace and process change. Using semaphore and the art of communicating with flags, we will be developing a proposal for a public artwork for Blackheath.

R+D: We are deep into a funded R&D project with a national institution, and will share more in 2025.

ORACLES: We are excitedly developing and expanding ORACLES - more info soon.

And: We are also commencing two new projects this Autumn. More information to follow soon.

YARA + DAVINA make site and context responsive, bold, playful and thought provoking public art.

Current show: ORACLES, Dulwich Picture Gallery, London, 5th March - 14th July

ORACLES transforms Gallery 12 at Dulwich Picture Gallery into an Oracle Card reading room, inviting visitors to seek advice and wisdom from a bespoke set of oracle cards inspired by Dulwich Picture Gallery’s collection.

Oracle cards are tools for contemplation and encourage us to listen to our intuition, unlike Tarot’s, which are known for predicting one’s future. Our ORACLES set takes inspiration from the Gallery’s collection of historic paintings and was developed through creative conversations with local community groups in Southwark, Lambeth and Lewisham.

We worked with the groups to playfully explore what paintings from the collection would mean if they were oracle cards. The outcome is a set of cards that offer contemporary thoughtful provocations for self-reflection and guidance in our modern day lives.

Buying Cards: The second batch of ORACLES has sold out. Contact us if you are interested in buying a set and we will add you to list for when they become available.
